I had been to this historical temple on my way to nagara fort. I had no plans of visiting this place when one of my friend suggested me to visit here this is nearer to nagara.this place has been declared to be one of the national importance under the ancient monuments and archeological sited and remains act 1958.
This place is situated in the middle of the malenadu nature .there were only 2 people when I had a visit to devgange.so I gotta had some kidda peace✌ there .in front of the temple there is a pond .the water looks pretty good and cool.


The place is well suited for nature lovers and photographers . it is better to visit in post mansoon because the weather looks pretty cool. 
 How to reach 
Roadways:  you will find number of busses from hosnagara to nagara.from there u can hire autos to there. It is situated at a distance of 8kms from nagara.
Railways:  the nearest railway station is situated in shimoga at a distance of  85kms . 
Airways:  the nearest airport is situated in Mangalore and the distance between the two is around 180kms .

THE MAYURAVANA HOMESTAY                                  Situated in the foothills of the Chandradrona hill station and surrounded by the coffee estates, the two day stay gave us a heavenly experience. It is situated in the village named Mallenahalli which is 12 Km's from Chikkamagaluru town. The village itself has many myths and stories behind it. The host told that the Giris (hills, particularly mullayanagiri, Bababudangiri, Seetalayyanagiri and Deviramana betta) gives birth to many water source which runs through their village, and that medicinal powers of the water are absorbed in the land.
