Few weeks back I had a bike ride from Sagara to Kundadri with some of my friends.i can't stop myself by sharing some information about this hill.its a heaven for travellers.i bet you can't stop loving this place.


 Located at a height of 826meters above the sea level,Kundadri hill has attracted vast number of tourists. It has a 17th century jain temple dedicated to thirthankara at the top of the hill.situated in the dense green forests of the western ghats,this hill station is a dream destination for nature lovers.as this hill is situated in western ghats the whole surroundings is filled with flora and founa.

 Breathtaking view from the top of the hill brings back your mood.charming overview from the top will make your eyes shine bright.its a dream destination for nature lovers.and also it is well suited for photography.u can take enough photos to post in social medias 😉.


 The jain temple is a pilgrimage location for travellers.history says that before 2000years ago a jain sage named kundakunda acharya was been there to give birth to this enornomus temple.this temple is constructed with stones.

 It is situated in Thirthahalli taluk of Shimoga dist of Karnataka.its a heaven to see both sunset and sunrise so you better plan to be here by early morning or evening.the morning breeze of the air takes you to the world of peace✌.

     From Shimoga one has to reach Thirthahalli .then take road towards Agumbe.you have to take left diversion in Guddekere which comes in between Agumbe and Thirthahalli.


 HOW TO REACH

Roadways: it Is situated at a distance of 75kms from Shimoga.and around 30kms from Thirthahalli.from there you can hire private cars to reach Kundadri.you have good hotels in Thirthahalli for lodging.

 Railways: nearest railway station is situated in Shimoga at a distance of 75kms.and Udupi railway station is situated at a distance of 85kms.

 Airways:nearest airport is Mangalore international airport.it is situated at a distance of 145kms
