The journey though, will give you a charming experience. It would be better if you visit here in the winter, as both the view and weather would be supportive. Situated in the laps of the Kodachadri hills, this falls hits the ground around from 60-70 feet height. We reached Nittutu at afternoon 3:00 P.M. Nitturu is a small town situated just down on the Kodachadri hills. It was raining heavily, later when the rain slowed down we took our way to the falls. The rain was playing with us.  BURUDE FALLS I can say this is one of the dangerous falls of Uttara Kannada District. The journey goes through the dense forests of Siddapura Taluk. It is suggested not to take kids if you plan to go. So many people died here before. We started from Sagara on a fine morning at 9 AM. Just 2 hours drive took us to a village, where the trek starts. We parked our car and started heading down. You will​ find a small cottage, and here the trek begins. Remember, you need to climb down a steep hill. The distance is just 2-3KM's , but the steep is too shallow. The first phase of the trek could be made by the concrete steps. Then the real struggle begins. As I said earlier, it is too steep, so better not to hold others hands while heading down. We started heading down, and one of us who knew this place better lead us.
