TUMBE

It was a cool evening when we started our ride towards Tumbe, a village situated at distance of 20 KM's from Sagara town. There is nothing much to see there except there backwater of Linganamakki dam. I would like to say that it's not worth of visiting this place from far away places.

We left sagara at sharp 3 in the afternoon. I had heard that many sagara people especially students do visits here occasionally. Four of us were riding on 2 bikes. I thought this wouldn't be a much impressive place to visit as I was feeling quite normal while riding bike for about first 5 KM's. But suddenly I was amazed to see the road being covered by green thick forests. I was excited and increased my speed. But I was forced to put brakes by the bloody curves.

After riding for about 30 mins we were there present in the place. It was a calm place where there were no one except us. I felt like water was resting in peace. The cool breeze was hitting our face. We took some snaps. We sat for about half an hour simply looking at the nature and I loved it. The chirping sound of birds was cooling our ears.

We started back at evening 6 though I was not interested to return back. Actually I wanted to spend some more time there but unfortunately it was late and we were forced to return back. It might be a simple ride in the countryside but for me, it was a special one.

HOW TO REACH:

Roadways: I told you in the beginning itself that it's not worth of visiting this place from far away places.
You have less buses running in this area. From Sagara town you have take the route of Varadhalli ashram. And take right diversion after traveling for about 3 KM's. Take the help of villagers. There are many chances of getting lost.

Railways: The nearest railway station is situated in Sagara itself.
